Could you be Marvellous Milly’s forever home?

Just look at gorgeous Milly, a beautiful terrier rescued from the dog meat trade who is looking to travel to her forever home.

In video released to day, NoToDogMeat founder Julia de Cadenet introduces the beautiful dog, and shows her walking on the lead for the very first time.

Milly currently lives at NoToDogMeat’s shelter in Beijing, but is hoping to travel soon to her happy new start.

The sweet natured girl gets on well with other dogs, and is full of energy, enthusiasm and love.

There are currently 750 dogs at NoToDogMeat’s shelters in Hebei and Beijing, and it is hard to rehome them in China due to an unwillingness to adopt and size restrictions.

Julia, who is currently working at NoToDogMeat’s bases, and was part of a truck rescue yesterday in which six dogs were saved, said: “We are all in love with Milly, she is so good natured and happy, despite everything she has been through in her life.

“Milly only walked on the lead for the first time this week, but as you will see in the video she is eager to learn, and happy to try new things.

“We really hope that someone reading this would like to give Milly her happy life, all of the dogs deserve that.”

2023 is the first year since the pandemic that dogs have been able to travel from the NoToDogMeat shelters, and in the summer Debbie and Delphi were the first to arrive.

Delphi is now living in Paris, while Debbie lives in Wendover, Bucks, UK.
