The dogs of the July 7th rescue are currently in quarantine for 21 days. They are in a place of temporary safety still under the authorities and the traders. Those who have survived have received medical care and food and thankfully there seem to be no infectious diseases or fractures.

This is a tricky situation, the dog dealers are still the owners of the dogs in the eyes of the law and financially responsible. Often because of the lengthy quarantine the dealers give up ownership to the volunteers. However this case seems to be supported by the police and officials in the dealers favour so we will have to wait and see…
