Hannah’s departure from China and arrival in Amsterdam yesterday…
Joyful news – a year after they were rescued from the slaughterhouse Hannah and her Samoyed friends have made it to Europe for Christmas. Hannah, the old English Sheepdog and Zoya, a Samoyed, are being cared for in Amsterdam while Felicity, the Samoyed is currently in Paris. They will stay with fosterers until they go to their forever homes. With your help this will only be the start and we have many more to come in the New Year including our giant poodles. It has been a real team effort so far – we have rescuers, workers, flight volunteers, drivers and fosterers as well as those who raise funds both in China and overseas. Everyone has been amazingly patient and dedicated, staying up late due to time zones, helping us fill forms and make sure the journey has been smooth for our dogs.
These dogs have made an incredible journey – but this is just the beginning of the story not the end. We now have the challenge of bringing as many dogs as possible during the next few weeks and months. We cannot do this without the continuing participation of our supporters.
